The history of our company is rooted in the history of Stamford itself. Stamford native Gene Rubino founded Plaza Realty & Management Corporation in 1970 as the first full service real estate company in the area at a time when the city was experiencing a building renaissance as an important business hub. As Stamford grew, so too did Plaza Realty.
Experienced in all facets of real estate, Plaza Realty was among the first to offer a comprehensive spectrum of specialized services, including turnkey property management for homeowner associations, condominium communities and commercial investment properties, along with sales, leasing and real estate marketing to meet their needs. Today, under the direction of Michael Lombardo, president, and Vice Presidents Michael Hibbert and Richard Smeriglio, Plaza Realty enjoys a well-earned leadership role as the premier property management company in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
In a strategic move to seamlessly accommodate our continued growth and expansion, we relocated our headquarters in the fourth quarter of 2013 from our Bedford Street location of 40+ years to larger state of the art offices at 1010 Hope Street in Stamford, Connecticut.
Our services are dedicated to providing overall strategic management of client properties, from establishing meticulous accounting practices and effective communications policies to implementing watchdog mechanisms for on-going maintenance and capital improvements to safeguard and maintain their real estate investments.
Our management philosophy is simple and reflects our 45+ year legacy of providing unrivaled valued-based, customer-first solutions to our clients: always do the right thing and your business will always be a success.
